Episcopal Appointments

His Grace, Bishop Paul Peter, in addition to his responsibilities as Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland, Vicar for Government Relations and Public Affairs and Chancellor of the Archeparchy, is appointed Episcopal Vicar of the Archbishop-Metropolitan of the United States & the Americas for Columbia and Venezuela, effective September 6, 2004.

His Grace, Bishop Danylo, in addition to his responsibilities as Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland and Syncellus for the Western United States, is appointed Episcopal Vicar of the Archbishop-Metropolitan of the United States & the Americas for Western Europe, effective September 29, 2004.

Clergy Appointments

The Rt. Rev. Protopresbyter, Canon John Tokarick, VG, in addition to his responsibilities as pastor of Holy Trinity Church, Lancaster, PA, is confirmed in his previously appointed position as Protosyncellus of the Archeparchy of Cleveland and the United States and Dean (Protopresbyter) of the Eastern Deanery of the Archeparchy, effective immediately. Father Tokarick was raised to the rank of Canon of the Archbishop's Curia, effective April 1, 2004. He has the right to wear the jeweled pectoral cross and epigonation.

The Very Rev. Ivan Kinash, received into the ranks of the clergy of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church of North & South America, from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kyiv Patriarchate, Eparchy of Drohobych & Sambir, with the proper canonical release of Archbishop Feodosiy, and incardinated into the Archeparchy of Cleveland and the United States, effective December 29, 2003. He is assigned as rector of the Cathedral of SS. Boris & Hlib, Cleveland, Ohio, effective immediately. Father Kinash is received in the rank of Protopriest (Very Reverend), granted to him on April 15, 2003, by Archbishop Feodosiy, Archbishop of Drohobych & Sambir - UOC-KP, with the right to wear the Gold pectoral cross.

Father Kinash was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on June 2, 1998 by Metropolitan Andriy of Lviv & Sokal, UOC-KP, at Pokrova Cathedral, Lviv, Ukraine.


The Rev. Yuriy Kasyanov, received into the ranks of the clergy of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church of North & South America, from the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Ukraine, Eparchy of Lviv, with the proper canonical release of Archbishop Makarijy, and incardinated into the Archeparchy of Cleveland and the United States, effective April 7, 2004. He is temporarily assigned as supply priest for the New York Metropolitan area and the Eastern Deanery of the Archeparchy, effective immediately.

Father Kasyanov was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on July 13, 2000 by Bishop Makarijy of the Lviv-Halych Metropolia, in the Savropigial Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Lviv, Ukraine.


The Rev. Andrew Dib, per His Beatitude, Metropolitan Stephan, appointed pastor of St. Elias Church, Allentown, PA, effective June 1, 2004.


The Very Rev. Protopresbyter James O'Grady, VG, in addition to his assignment as pastor of Holy Dormition of the Mother of God Orthodox Church, Wolverham, UK, is confirmed in his appointment as Protosyncellus (Vicar General) of the Eparchy of Western Europe and raised to the rank of Protopresbyter, which was effective September 1, 2003. He is also appointed Dean (Protopresbyter) of the Deanery of the United Kingdom, effective as of the same date. Father O'Grady has the right to wear the jeweled pectoral cross and epigonation.
